The progress department is an integral part of Impression Europe. Whether it’s for plain stock or personalised, we monitor each order every step of the way. We understand the importance of making sure that every order is delivered on time. It is our responsibility to ensure that each order makes it to its destination and meets its deadline.
Working in the progress department means liaising with many different people, firstly with our supplier to make sure the stock is despatched on time. We speak to couriers to monitor the stock and to our printers to schedule the print and ensure stock and artwork are received. We speak to our printers on a daily basis and have a great working relationship with them. Internally we work closely with the studio department making sure that artwork proofs are sent and approved in plenty of time to meet our customer’s deadlines.
The progress department is also responsible for sending order acknowledgements which as well as confirming the prices also confirms an expected delivery date for the order and gives our customer peace of mind that the order is being processed. We have found them an efficient way of keeping our customers up to speed.
It is important to us that we give great customer service and make sure that we keep our customers informed on the rare occasions we do encounter problems. We work hard to have the most accurate information to hand so that when a customer calls us we can update them immediately with the current status of their order.
