Does Your Lawn Get This Treatment?
At the recent PSI exhibition we stayed at the Tulip Inn Hotel, Dusseldorf. This is a very nice hotel but particularly if you’re a football fan because it’s attached to the Fortuna Dusseldorf football stadium.
This 48,000 seater stadium is accessed via the hotel restaurant.
What a sight!

We stood looking at a fantastic pitch thinking “wouldn’t it be great to play on that? It’s like a billiard table”. However it seems German fans demand much more from their football teams than we do because the following morning this was the scene.
The grass had disappeared. Incredible!
But, the very next morning, hey presto, it was back again.
A brand new playing surface supplied, delivered and in place within 24 hours, and they are only half way through their season.
It puts our teams to shame, but what great customer service!
